Spirit Of Attila Double Chili Sauce
Tasting:
We’re immensely proud that in 2015, our Spirit of Attila chili sauce became a world champion at the World Hot Sauce Awards held in America. It was the first Hungarian entry and succeeded in clinching the top spot.
Before this chili sauce reaches your table in its final form, it undergoes numerous processes. We plant, nurture, harvest, process, cook, press, and season the peppers, using a technology that preserves the unique characteristics of the peppers. The secret lies in our unique recipes. This is where its value comes from.
This chili sauce won not only for its heat but also for its flavor. Upon tasting, you first notice its flavor before a gradual build-up of heat occurs in various parts of your mouth. The impact is memorable, offering a delightful experience during meals. This ultra-hot sauce serves as a fantastic base for seasoning various dishes. The slow-building heat allows you to savor the true flavor before the intense heat kicks in. Just a drop is enough to bring extra heat to soups, stews, and other dishes. It is one of our leading products.
Made by hand in a workshop from carefully selected chili peppers. During cultivation and processing, we place great emphasis on quality and food safety. It is important to us to maintain a consistent taste and quality for our customers, bottle after bottle. Therefore, we work according to precise recipes.

Awards:
2015, World Hot Sauce Awards, America - Spirit of Attila chili sauce won the world championship title.
It was the first Hungarian product to participate in the competition among the world's best chili sauces, achieving first place right away.
Our Spirit of Attila chili sauce was crowned world champion at The World Hot Sauce Awards, held in Louisiana, USA, showcasing the world's strongest sauces. This American event saw entries from 14 countries with 284 products from 109 manufacturers competing in 49 categories. The Spirit of Attila won the top honor in the Hot sauce/Hot category, one of only three categories featuring stronger products. The sauce is made from two types of peppers, both former Guinness record holders for heat. While not the strongest, Spirit of Attila is the most popular among both Hungarian and international customers. Sauces made from stronger varieties fall into the X-Hot category. "In the Ultra Hot group, European products rarely compete due to EU regulations on additives. In these cases, capsaicin is added, but within the EU, it must be added naturally. Outside the EU, extracted or synthetic capsaicin can be used, allowing only those products to compete in the strongest category.
It participated in the most populous category. Historically, Americans have always won this competition.
The genie was let out of the bottle
The category we entered was the most populous, with around thirty participants, and historically, Americans have always won. This year, entries from three non-American countries placed, but only we managed to win a category, making us very proud and happy.
